MWGA competitions are open to all amateur women golfers of all skill levels. Members and guests are welcome to join! Competitions include individual and team events. To be eligible to participate each player must have an USGA index as all competitions are flighted by handicap. Additional information on a specific competition’s format can be found on the event page.


MWGA’s schedule and event registration is managed using the Golf Genius online application. To view upcoming events, event information and to register, click the link below. The Golf Genius application will also provide player rosters, division information, points and tee time scheduling.

To register for an event, players must first be listed on MWGA’s master roster. If your name is missing from the master roster, send an email to Be sure to include your name, email address, cell phone number and GHIN number. You will receive a confirmation once you have been added and can register at that time. Registration must be completed online using a debit or credit card. You are officially registered for an event only after payment has been received.  Payments must be received by the scheduled deadline. Late payments will be subject to a $16 late fee.



MWGA will always post your tournament scores at the end of each event.


MWGA event results are available on the MWGA Golf Genius event schedule. Locate the event (adjust filter if needed) and select results in the menu bar.

The Golf Association of Michigan (GAM) offers additional tournament options for amateur golfers. GAM also hosts GAM Golf Days, are one-day, 18-hole events available to GAM Members. They give GAM Members the opportunity to play some of the top private and resort courses in the state at an affordable price. There is a competitive element to each GAM Golf Day, but the emphasis is on enjoying a great day on a great golf course!

In order to qualify for a USGA Championship, all players must submit a championship application prior to the entry deadline and compete in a qualifier in hopes of advancing to the championship (unless eligible for an exemption).  All players are limited to one qualifying location for each USGA Championship.
