Golf Instruction for Young Girls

Locations:

Belle Isle First Tee Facility

Dates:  Session A : Mon. – Thurs., June 28 – July 8, 2010; 6 – 7:30 PM

             Session B : Mon. – Thurs., July 12 – July 22, 2010; 6 – 7:30 PM
 Junior/Adult Tournament, Tues. July 20, 11 AM - 3 PM, Dearborn Hills GC

Format for

each session:

  Professional Instruction  – in the basic skills of golf in an easy to learn format

  Short Game – putting and chipping

  Short Game – pitching and bunker play

  Full Swing – learning difference in use of clubs for various shots on the tee & fairways

  Full Swing – with golf course tour, rules and etiquette

  Follow-Up Review Session – mini scramble event with MWGA members

  Course Instruction Includes Study Materials, Clubs & Balls!

 

Fee:

$20 per girl per session (a session is 12 hours of instruction; 1½ hours per day, 4 days a week for two weeks)

Eligibility:

Girls, ages 11 – 17, no golf experience necessary

Deadline for registration:

 

June 23, 2010 or limited to the first 36 participants (18 per session)
